“It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.”

Truer words have never been spoken.  We have Frederick Douglass to thank for this crucial reminder.

In recent weeks several articles have been published about the importance of infants and young children being comforted when they need it.  It seems such a simple thing, that merely meets the short term need of quieting their cries.  It is even more than that though, and the result of meeting a baby’s needs, from conception up through early childhood, can make a difference for that child for a lifetime.

Please consider reading a couple of these articles to find out the sceintific reasons behind the truth that “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.”
